Catching Dreams is a full service equestrian facility offering top notch searches for the perfect horse, experienced riding instruction stressing safety first, quality training and more, owned by Ms. Sandy Jones. Sandy was introduced to horses at the age of 4 when she started lessons in Darnestown, Maryland in a small riding facility that stressed safety in equestrian sports, and instilled in her a love for knowledge and hands on experience with horses. At the age of 10, her parents made her dream come true when they surprised her on Christmas morning with her very first horse in her own backyard! The gorgeous Palomino mare looked just like Mr. Ed. Unfortunately, as it happens in so many similar situations, the dream became a nightmare when the new horse threw Sandy into a fence. She was rushed to the hospital where she spent a week in the children's center, and later discovered that the horse had been medicated and abused.

With experience and knowledge, patience and fun, Sandy's riding instructor encouraged her to continue with lessons and Sandy eventually regained her self confidence and courage. Her career with horses has flourished ever since.

Over the years, Sandy spent a huge amount of time showing her own horses every other weekend, riding in shows for individuals needing to sell their mounts, and began training for her old riding instructor. She eventually achieved full management of her instructor's program and facility. Before too much longer, she and her partners branched off and established their own academy on 124 acres, boasting 1 indoor ring, 1 outdoor ring and a 32 stall barn.

Presently she is in North Central Texas in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex, and is teaching, training and providing other equine services. Her student base is growing and she has helped many individuals find the perfect horse. She has obtained abused and neglected horses that she has rehabilitated and now uses for lessons, and stud service! Her knowledge and expertise is invaluable when it comes to searching for that perfect horse, or giving riding instruction to students of any age or experience level.
